More often than not, I normally photograph weddings in my local Southern Maryland area. However, at the beginning of August, I had the lovely opportunity of leaving my little town and heading into the mountains of Western Maryland. Honestly, Western Maryland is one of my favorite places to be, my family & I go camping there often. If you have never been, you’ll find the further you go that the roads start to gently slope and change their form, hills turns into small mountains and farm land is as far as the eye can see.
Jennifer & Josh contacted me earlier this year about capturing their wedding day in Williamsport, MD. It is a border town, a mile down the road and you are in West Virginia. It is quite a neat thing. On top of the beautiful scenery, their wedding was loaded with beautiful details and full of love. The couple asked for a first look as part of the wedding day photography and of course I was so happy to oblige. But watching them see each other for the first time, both of them crying, it had me crying too. Ughh, how awesome is that? They were just so full of love.
